If you are a high school student living in Carpinteria, California, an exciting photo opportunity is coming soon! “Beyond Point and Shoot” is a 3-day photography workshop that will be taught this month as part of Teen Extreme 2012 by professional photographer, Ted Rhodes. Teen Extrema is an exciting summer program with many professionals donating their time and energy to provide opportunities for Carpinteria youth. Best of all, the programs are FREE!

Ted Rhodes brings extensive experience to the table including more than 22 years in Hollywood as a motion picture technician plus years of still photography. Workshop participants will learn about lighting, composition, camera settings and shooting angles. Each session will be part classroom and part “hands-on” experience via field trips.
