People having fun in the great outdoors was portrayed so well through the photography of Paul Myers when he participated in the Photograph Your Love® Instagram takeover. It’s what he loves, and it shows! Paul works for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy in San Francisco creating photos and videos. Talk about a dream job! I was fascinated to learn more about this extensive park system. It extends 80,000 acres north and south of the Golden Gate Bridge with 37 different park sites. Makes me want to grab my camera and go take a hike! Paul is so fortunate to work for the conservancy and he definitely takes advantage of the photo opportunities.
The photography of Paul Myers comes from a wealth of experience. He has roots in documentary photojournalism, having worked for small newspapers and a bilingual magazine. Paul also taught at Brooks Institute for 10 years and led their international documentary projects. In 2011, he taught a popular Hipstamatic Workshop here at Color Services. He’s a street photographer at heart, and this gives him his unique style. Big thanks to Paul Myers for sharing some of his photos over our Instagram feed for all to enjoy and for reminding us that there are many beautiful parks to explore—even in urban settings. Be sure to follow Paul Myers @damikato and @paulmyers_pictures.
Stay tuned to @colorservices where we feature a different guest photographer each week! We love to encourage photography by sending out amazing images though our Instagram feed daily. Photograph your love!
